Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins & Campground is a peaceful, nature-focused campground in Folkston, Georgia, located directly across from the main entrance to the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. Set across 13 wooded acres, the property offers full-hookup RV sites, basic and deluxe cabins, furnished glamping tents, and premium, primitive, and group tent camping. RV guests can choose from back-in, pull-through, and partial pull-through sites with 30/50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, while pull-through sites provide room for larger rigs and convenient arrivals.
The campground is designed around enjoying the natural surroundings of the Okefenokee region. Guests can fish in the on-site catch-and-release pond, walk wooded trails, enjoy the dedicated stargazing field, play pickleball or basketball, visit the playground, and take part in seasonal events and live music. The property also features ADA-compliant bathhouses with hot showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a dog park, camp store, and the Okefenokee Pastimes Bar & Grill. With the entrance to the wildlife refuge immediately nearby, guests also have convenient access to swamp boat tours, paddling, hiking, wildlife viewing, and some of South Georgia's darkest night skies.
