Red Gate Farms RV Resort

Red Gate Farms RV Resort is a family-owned campground in Savannah, Georgia, offering a peaceful countryside setting just minutes from Historic Downtown Savannah. Owned by the same family since 1931, the property is surrounded by centuries-old live oak trees, open pastures, horses, farm animals, scenic lakes, and walking and biking trails. Guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a working farm while remaining close to Savannah's historic squares, restaurants, museums, River Street, and other popular attractions.

RV travelers can choose from full-hookup, water-and-electric, and dry camping sites with back-in, pull-through, and pull-forward configurations. Electrical options include 20-, 30-, and 50-amp service, while waterfront, shaded, satellite-friendly, private, and premium sites provide choices for different camping styles. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire pit, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The resort also features a year-round saltwater swimming pool, fishing lakes, fitness center, laundry facilities, hot showers, restrooms, camp store, propane service, playground, and trails. Catch-and-release fishing is available for registered guests, along with kayak and bicycle rentals.

Guests without an RV can stay in Camp Happy Joy, a furnished 22-foot camper, or The Hay Loft, a three-bedroom loft-style accommodation. Horseback riding and horse-drawn carriage experiences are also available through the Red Gate Farms Equestrian Center.
