Spacious Skies Savannah Oaks

Spacious Skies Savannah Oaks is a peaceful riverside campground in Savannah, Georgia, offering a classic Southern camping experience beneath mature oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Set on approximately 24 acres along the Ogeechee River, the campground combines a wooded outdoor setting with convenient access to I-95 and Historic Downtown Savannah, making it a comfortable base for both overnight travelers and longer coastal Georgia getaways.

RV guests can choose from shaded pull-through and back-in sites with full hookups, including water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electrical service. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. Traditional tent camping is also available on sites with water and electric service, while monthly and extended-stay options provide flexibility for guests who want to spend more time exploring Savannah and the surrounding Lowcountry.

The campground features a seasonal swimming pool, boat ramp and dock, playground, basketball court, communal seating areas, dog park, dog wash station, bathhouses, laundry facilities, camp store, propane, firewood, and ice sales. Guests can also enjoy fishing along the Ogeechee River and relaxing around the community fire pit.

From the campground, visitors can easily explore Savannah's Historic District, Forsyth Park, River Street, museums, shops, restaurants, and nearby Tybee Island.
