About Stone Mountain Park Campground
Stone Mountain Park Campground is a large, family-friendly campground located inside Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. Set within the park's 3,200 acres of natural surroundings, the campground offers more than 400 RV, pop-up, and tent sites along with yurts, Safari Tent rentals, and rental RVs. RV campers can choose from full- and partial-hookup sites with pull-through, head-in, and back-in configurations, while tent campers can select water-and-electric or primitive sites in wooded and lakeside settings.
Camping here puts guests within easy reach of Stone Mountain Park's outdoor recreation, seasonal attractions, trails, and lake activities while still providing plenty to enjoy within the campground itself. Amenities include a seasonal swimming pool, children's playground, sand volleyball court, horseshoe courts, comfort stations, laundry facilities, dump station, general store, LP gas, picnic tables, grills, and fire rings. Guests can also visit the Adventure Outpost for activities such as a lakeside zip line, kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals, and lake tours, making the campground a convenient home base for both relaxing and exploring Stone Mountain Park.
